Excursion through the historic part of town, the valley and the countryside of Cave (Rome)
June 29, 2014 in the town of Cave (Rome) from 8:30am to 12:30pm
Organized by the naturalistic association ‘A Refera’, Sunday, June 29, all tourists and townspeople can participate and get to know a beautiful part of the Rome countryside, the area around Cave.
The excursion will allow an opportunity for participants to discover the beautiful old town of Cave followed by the valley and it’s historic mule trails in an uncontaminated environment.
The hike will be followed by a lunch at one of the local wine cellars so participants may taste genuine products which belong to the traditional cuisine of the countryside near Rome.
Difficulty: T (touristic), itinerary without difficulty and suitable for persons of all ages (5 to 99 years of age) 
Lenght: 5/6 Km
The excursion is free excpet for the 2 euro daily insurance fee.

8:30am : meeting place at Piazza Guglielmo Marconi (in front of the beautiful church of di San Carlo)
Itinerary: Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Via Roma, Ponte Vecchio, Valle del Rio, Santa Anatolia, ‘A Refera, Spirito Santo, Casalecchio, Sorgente della Lempia, via del Fossato, Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
During the walk there will be brief stops to share information about the history of Cave and the area’s naturalistic beauty.
12:30pm: End of excursion.
